'Baby Running Barefoot' by D.H.Lawrence:-

The present poem depicts a fatherly love by D.H.Lawrence.
It's about an innocence of a baby enjoying across the grass. It's one of the best stages of life without any worries or tension.how the baby enjoys the company of grass, flowers & other natural objects has been described well here.
The Poet doesn't discuss here any serious issues & problems of society but takes us in the innocent world of children.

"The little white feet nod like
White flowers in the wind.."

The baby's feet movements & running have been glorified or magnified by comparing them with ripples, little Robin's song or butterflies settle in the cup of the flower.

"I long for the baby to
Wonder neither to me.."

In short he described the baby in the company of grass & other aspects of nature.

Thank You.
