'Ode On Solitude' by Alexander Pope:-

Ode on solitude is a kind of poem that glorifies solitude & self-dependence.
The title here highlights the theme or the subject of the poem. It clarifies that the ode is about loneliness.
The poem focuses on very natural aspect of human life,Solitude or Loneliness.it suggests how to be self dependent & happy.

Alliteration
Whose.. Wish
Second... Sleep
Unseen...Unknown etc..

Noun(Man,Care,Milk etc..)
Adjective (Happy,Soft,Unknown etc..)
Verb(Bound,Breath,Live etc..)
Relative pronoun(Whose, Who etc..)

"Happy the man whose wish & care,
A few paternal across bound."

Pope presented here the pleasure of being content & self dependent. He says that if a person wants to be Happy he should be satisfied with his limited land in his native place. His herds give them milk, his flocks supply him attires, trees in summer gives him shelter & the same tress give fire in the winter. Such man can be really happy because he lives independently.
Such solitude can help to pass hours, days & years happily. Such man enjoys a second health & peace of mind.
At last the Poet wishes to live independently & lonely & also he describes to die unlamented. This desire shows that the poet wants to keep aloof & does not care for publicity. He wants to keep distance from crowds as he is self dependent.

Thank You.
