'The Nightingale & The Rose' by Oscar Wilde:-

Two cheap words are important here in the title The Nightingale & The Rose,in fact this is a story of young student & his Love. But the Nightingale become the central character.
Human love doesn't deserve the attention of creatures of ground, sea & air. The Nightingale & The Rose is a moral story by Wilde. It's a story of sacrifice of a Nightingale for the sake of human Love. Ultimate moral of the story is that human love & sacrifice are worthless.
The young boy is worried in the beginning of the story because of his beloved's condition that she would dance with him if he brought her the red rose.unfortunately he fails to get the red rose.he is disappointed & weeps.the Nightingale notices it & decides to help this young boy.she even can't find red rose as there were only yellow & white.
The red rose tells her that she has to blooms the red rose only by her heart's blood.the Nightingale agrees to sacrifice her life.ultimately the boy gets the red rose but on the other hand the lovely bird losses her life.

"Jewels cost for more than flowers."

The rejection of the boy's proposal answered by such way.then the boy disappointed & angrily throws the rose into the street where it falls into the gutter & cartwheel goes over it.he weeps & returned to his study.
This story is a humble tribute to the birds & beasts who have been deceived by Hunan being.

Thank You.
