'To His Coy Mistress' by Andrew Marvell:-

To his coy mistress is a fine specimen of metaphysical poetry by Andrew Marvell.he expresses the feelings of persuasion by a lover to his beloved.
The title To his coy mistress clearly mentions that the poem is about the beloved who feels shy.
The central idea of this poem is the coyness of the beloved. The poet's beloved has too much coyness. The poet feels that they have no time to waste & they should love.the poem is a kind of appeal to the shy mistress to give up coyness & to start love making.

To his coy mistress is rich in phonology.
Alterations (We..would) (Which..Way)
(Thirty..Thousands) etc...

Herioc couplets:-

"And your quaint honour turn to Dust,
And into ashes all my Lust..."

Noun-Mistakes,Coyness,Lady etc..
Verbs-Walk,Turn,Refuse etc..

The poem is addressed to a coy beloved who is modest.the lover tries to convince her with different examples & references to avoid shyness & to begin love making.
Time is short & if they wait & talk, they would loss their most useful time & they may grow old.he also praises her beauty & says that he would require thousands of years to praise her beauty but it would be no use because the time parishes everything & she would be also victim of time. Her beautiful body will be found in dust & his lust would become ashes.
In two divisions the poet praises the beauty of his beloved in first part & in second one he tries to persuade her that they should not waste time & begin love making.

Thank You.
